Silver coin of Sigismund III Vasa (reigned 1587–1632), minted in Krakow in the year 1611. Sigismund ruled the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth at the height of its power and was simultaneously elected King of Sweden. The obverse shows the Polish eagle; the reverse bears the king's crowned monogram with the legend SIG·III·D·G — REX·PO — M·D, abbreviating his royal titles.
